Kenneth “Ken” Wendorff of Braham, formerly of Jordan, passed away Wednesday, May 7, 2008 at his home, surrounded by his family, after a long battle with cancer. He was 56 years old.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 10, at the Rock-Ingebrand Funeral Chapel in Braham. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. on Saturday prior to the service.

Walter “Wally” Cobb of Jordan died last week when he lost control of his Harley Davidson motorcycle and was hit by a train near the intersection of Frontage Road and County Road 9 in Jordan.

When Walter “Wally” Cobb died in a motorcycle accident last week, he left behind two sons, and a family that wasn’t your traditional family unit.

Cobb and his ex-wife Nanci Barlau remained close friends after their 11-year marriage ended.

“We were more of a family after our divorce,” she said.

When their youngest son was confirmed, the entire family attended – Cobb and his wife Kelly, and Nanci and her husband.

“He decided it was very important that he be there,” Barlau said. “We all went as a family together.”

Allen Short, age 64, of Prior Lake, passed away Friday, May 2, 2008 at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis.
