The Jordan School Board will hear from a representative from Trane about what it can expect in fixing the air quality problems at the elementary school.
The district has already taken some steps to repair the air quality problems, but could be facing replacing the units on the school’s roof in the near future.
“As we put new units up on the roof, we want it to make a difference internally,” Kauzlarich said.
When Jordan Elementary School hosted the Jordan Area Chamber of Commerce coffee hour last week, it was a chance to showcase their new SMART boards.
The boards were installed over the holiday break, and new School Board Member Sheila Bauer, who was instrumental in raising the funds for the boards as part of the Parents Taking Action (PTA) organization, demonstrated the technology during the coffee hour.
“The community was just wowed,” Board Member Deb Pauly said.
