timeCounting down the monthsFebruary 22, 2008 - 1:53pm — BrandonIt’s almost March, and you know what that means, don’t you? Of course! We’re almost into one of my favorite parts of the year – the unabbreviated months. School board changes meeting timeJanuary 15, 2008 - 6:35pm — BrandonThe Jordan School Board will meet at 6:30 p.m. Jan. 28 instead of at 7 p.m. The board decided to push its meeting time forward, because the Jordan Jaguar basketball team will tip off against Minneapolis Roosevelt that night, which Superintendent Larry Kauzlarich said is one of the biggest games of the season. Watch outJanuary 7, 2008 - 12:54pm — BrandonSix months ago, I broke my watch. Last week, I got it fixed. It felt like a phantom limb regenerating when I returned it to my wrist for the first time. Making time to readJanuary 7, 2008 - 12:38pm — BrandonI don’t always make time to read, but I do always make time to buy books. That’s why I have a shelf full of books that I’ve bought and not yet read, and why the number of those books keeps growing. It’s like shopping while you’re hungry – it’s never a good idea, and you always end up with more than you really need. The problem is, I’m always hungry for books. |
