The Jordan Honor Guard has lasted 50 years.
Its roster includes Duane Deutsch, Randy Eckstein, Gene Eichten, Tom Hennen, Mike Hennen, Merv Hennes, Lanny Holzer, Elmer Jabs, Tom Kes, Cliff Klehr, Butch Mamer, Oliver Nichols, Myron Pauly, Elmer Pieper, Dennis Smith, Les Thill, Rich VonBank, Chuck Wermerskirchen, Paul Wermerskirchen, and Cy Wolf.

ST. PAUL -- Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty today ordered that all U.S. and Minnesota flags be flown at half-staff on state property from sunrise until noon on Monday, May 26, 2008, in honor and remembrance of the sacrifices of those brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.

Earlier this weekend, I was reading an article online about expectations for the weekend box office. The article mentioned that Martin Luther King, Jr. Day was (which is today) had become something of a cash cow for movie theaters, because most students have the day off (including Jordan’s students).
I came to work with a hangover this morning, but not the kind that you get from drinking too much. No, I came to work this morning with a vacation hangover.
