At the city of Jordan's Truth-in-Taxation public hearing Monday, the city showed a DVD provided by the League of Minnesota Cities, in cooperation with county and school board coalitions.

The DVD told about 14 reasons property taxes go up or down.

“What I get out of that DVD presentation is that there isn’t a simple answer as to why there are increases or decreases,” Jordan Mayor Ron Jabs said.
