Fall practice for Jordan
athletics begins Monday, Aug. 11 for football, girls tennis, cross country and
volleyball and Jordan High
School.
Athletic fees for the 2008-09 season are $90 for grade 9-12 and
$60 for grades 7-8.
Physicals need to be taken before practice begins and fees need
to be paid.
Adult season passes are $50 and student passes are $25. Adults
62 and older can obtain a free season pass by coming to the high school office.
Passes will not be mailed out.
Tennis opens their season at Glencoe on Tuesday, Aug. 19. Their
first home match is Tuesday, Aug. 26 against West Lutheran.
Volleyball opens at home against Norwood-Young America on
Tuesday, Aug. 26.
Football travels to Rockford
on Friday, Aug. 29. Their first home game is Friday, Sept. 5 against Belle
Plaine.
Cross country opens at the Ney
Center in Henderson
on Monday, Aug. 25 and travels to Montgomery
on Thursday, Sept. 4.
