The Jordan Brewers defeated Shakopee 8-7 on Wednesday night to improve to 1-0 in the Section 3B playoffs.

Jordan is the top seed in their pool with Shakopee and Prior Lake. Chaska, Green Isle and Victoria are in the other pool

Each pool will play a double round robin tournament against each other.

The
top two teams from each pool will advance to the Final 4 which begins
on Aug. 3. This will be a four-team double elimination tournament. The
top two teams from the Final Four will participate in the Class B state
tourney in Shakopee and Chaska.

Brewers next play against Shakopee at the Mini-Met on Friday, July 25 at 7:30 p.m.
