The Scott County Fair has added a “Guitar Hero” showdown to both its Friday and Saturday night schedules.

On Friday night, the video game contest will replace the teen battle of the bands, which has been canceled.

Each night, the contest will begin at 9 p.m. It will be a tournament-style battle, pitting skilled contestants against one another. The winner each night wins $50. Pre-registration is not necessary.
