Scott County District Court report

The following are Scott County District Court felony and gross-misdemeanor dispositions. Defendants either pleaded guilty or were found guilty by the court unless otherwise indicated.

Daryl Todd Friedrichs, 37, Ivanhoe, Minn., fifth-degree possession of controlled substances, a felony. Five years’ probation, provide DNA sample, random tests, $480 in fines.

Geri Lynn Otto, 36, Jordan, fifth-degree possession of controlled substance, a felony. Five years’ probation, abstain from alcohol, random tests, provide DNA sample, evaluation/treatment, $205 in fines. Driving while intoxicated (DWI), a misdemeanor. Six months in jail.

Gilbert Mendoza, 48, New Prague, driving after cancellation (inimical to public safety), a gross-misdemeanor. Two years’ probation, 180 days under electronic home-monitoring, $80 in fines.

Michael Thomas Bach, 41, Prior Lake, terroristic threats, a felony. Two years’ probation, 30 days in jail, 30 days under electronic home-monitoring, evaluation/treatment, provide DNA sample, $605 in fines.

William Chives Leanyear, 28, St. Paul, possession or sale of stolen or counterfeit check, a felony. Three years’ probation, 90 days in jail, provide DNA sample, $80 in fines.

Dawn Star Monroe, 36, Minneapolis, fifth-degree possession of controlled substance, a felony. Five years’ probation before conviction: 10 days of community service, evaluation/treatment, abstain from alcohol, random tests, $300 in fines.

Nicholas Keith Monson, 24, Prior Lake, DWI, a gross-misdemeanor. Two years’ probation, two days in jail, 28 days under electronic home-monitoring, $605 in fines.

Jeffrey Ress Nelson, 42, Prior Lake, driving after cancellation (inimical to public safety), a gross-misdemeanor. Two years’ probation, 40 hours of community service, $380 in fines.

Robert Mark Prescott, 54, Prior Lake, fifth-degree assault, a gross-misdemeanor. Two years’ probation, 10 days in jail, anger-management counseling, letter of apology, restitution, $4,205 in fines.

James Lee Schlagel, 53, Prior Lake, test refusal, a gross-misdemeanor. Two years’ probation, two days in jail, 28 days under electronic home-monitoring, $905 in fines.

Angela Marie Barbato, 38, Savage, financial-transaction card fraud, a felony. Adjudication stayed: One year probation, 40 hours of community service, restitution, $150 in fines.

Aaron Alexander Gressman, 19, Savage, interference with privacy, a felony. Adjudication stayed: Two years’ probation, 10 days of community service, letter of apology, no contact with victim(s), restitution, $80 in fines. Trespassing, a misdemeanor. One year probation, same sentence, concurrent.

Jason Matthew Hawk, 29, Savage, violation of predatory offender registration requirements, a felony. Serve 27 months in prison (concurrent to previous sentence), provide DNA sample, $80 in fines.

Sarah Ann Kuhn, 18, Prior Lake, theft, a gross-misdemeanor. Two years’ probation, 15 days of community service, restitution, $80 in fines.

Robert James Berg, 58, Bloomington, DWI, a gross-misdemeanor. Two months’ probation, 30 days in jail, 60 days under electronic home-monitoring, abstain from alcohol, random tests, $705 in fines.

Talia Donalee Brooks, 27, Minneapolis, false name to police officer, a gross-misdemeanor, and DWI, a misdemeanor. Two years’ probation, 20 days under electronic home-monitoring, $105 in fines.

Thomas Mase Effertz, 47, Shakopee, driving after cancellation (inimical to public safety), a gross-misdemeanor. Two years’ probation, 60 days under electronic home-monitoring, $980 in fines.

Elmore Barry Evans IV, 25, Chanhassen, DWI, a gross-misdemeanor. One year probation, one day in jail, restitution, $905 in fines.

Preston Nathaniel Johnson, 32, Eagan, first-degree sale of controlled substance, a felony. Ten years’ probation, 30 days in jail, 90 days under electronic home-monitoring, provide DNA sample, random tests, $505 in fines.

Bruce Lee Kaufhold, 46, Victoria, first-degree criminal damage to property, a felony. Two years’ probation, 60 days in jail, 60 days under electronic home-monitoring, 20 days of community service, provide DNA sample, no contact with victim(s), restitution, $80 in fines.

Gregory Allen Lee, 53, Minneapolis, driving after suspension, a misdemeanor. One year probation, 30 days under electronic home-monitoring, $80 in fines. Fifth-degree possession of controlled substance, a felony. Three years’ probation before conviction: Abstain from alcohol, complete treatment program.

James Robert Henry Meisinger, 31, Shakopee, driving after cancellation (inimical to public safety), a gross-misdemeanor. Two years’ probation, 40 hours of community service, $380 in fines.

Leonid Persitz, 56, Minnetonka, DWI, a gross-misdemeanor. Two years’ probation, 40 days under electronic home-monitoring, $425 in fines.

Joseph Mark Stensrud, 43, Rosemount, DWI, a gross-misdemeanor. Two years’ probation, four days in jail, 20 days under electronic home-monitoring, $905 in fines.
