The fountain has been back in the Mill Pond for a short while, long enough to draw minor complaints from its neighbors.

On windy days, the equipment sprays water onto residents' houses and windows.

Jordan Public Works Director Dave Bendzick said the fountain can be set to shoot water at different heights depending on wind conditions. At 15 mph, the spray goes down to halfway. But that's not low enough, he added.

It will be set to turn off on windy days, Bendzick said. "If you see the fountain not on, it's not a problem.
