My wife and I would like to have a garage sale in the next couple of weeks. We don't want to spend much money to advertise the garage sale, but we want to steal an idea we saw. A couple of years ago on highway 61 near Wabasha we saw an interesting sign advertising free beer at a garage sale. It looked like they had a lot of people stop at their garage sale - I wonder if that would work in Jordan? We live in town on Varner St. We are thinking about posting a sign promoting free wine at the garage sale. What does everyone think? Is it illegal to give away wine samples to the public at your home? Do you think people would stop?
