Joseph Barfknecht and Kendra Lund of Ottertail announce the birth of their daughter Mikah Rae Barfknecht, at 2:36 a.m. on March 5, 2008, at St. Mary's Regional Health Center in Detroit Lakes.

The baby girl weighed 6 pounds, 13 ounces, and was 19-1/2 inches long.

One of Mikah’s grandmothers, Sue Cole, resides in Jordan and her great-grandparents, Don and Severn Guertin, live in Belle Plaine. Joseph graduated from Jordan High School in 2000.
