Residents of the city of Jordan and Sand Creek Township can dispose of unwanted household items during the annual spring cleanup day at the Mini-Met ballpark parking lot.
Appliances, scrap metal, household refuse, batteries, electronics, lawn and garden equipment, tires, and other household items will be accepted. Fees range from $5 to $45. There is no cost to drop off glass, plastic, cardboard, paper, or aluminum.
The event is scheduled from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, May 16. Use the entrance near the intersection of Water and Rice streets.
