That's my goal this summer. To drop my golf handicap down into the single digits.
Right now, I'm not that far off of that goal. I finished last year with a handicap of 10.6. I figure that if I can come out of the gates playing well that number should get below 10 and into the single digits.
If I do start out well and do drop my handicap the hard thing will be to maintain all summer long and finish the season with a single handicap.
Just a couple of years ago, I finished the season with a 14 handicap. Its been dropping ever since and hopefully I can continue that trend.
If I am going to get into the single digits, I have to get better on and around the greens. I am pretty good from tee to green. Get me around the greens and I am a mental case.
It has gotten better. My putting is better than it was but it is still bad (that should tell you how bad I was at putting).Chipping needs to get better.
Better equipment would probably help but I am coming into the season with the same equipment I ended last year with.
