I don’t know if you’ve been following how big a summer this will be for me and my movie-watching nerd-ness, so I’ll just mention that you can do a search for Indiana Jones on this site and come across countless blog posts about how the next installment comes out this summer and how I’m ridiculously excited for it.

Well, toss in another Batman sequel and a few other comic book movies, and my summer movie slate is already brimming with geek-tastic moments. To make matters worse, I have recently found out that the next “X-Files” movie will make its debut in July.

This trio of summer releases pretty much covers every nerd phase I experienced throughout my school-age years. The only way it could get any geekier for me is if the summer release schedule somehow also included a “Lord of the Rings” feature, a new “Back to the Future” movie, or a TV resurrection of “Quantum Leap.”
