During the holiday break, Jordan Elementary School was a busy place.

Not only were workers installing new SMART boards, but there were also workers from Trane balancing the school’s heating and cooling duct system.

The district has a service contract with the company, Superintendent Larry Kauzlarich said. And while they didn’t install the system in the elementary school, they were able to better balance the airflow within the school.

Kauzlarich will ask a representative from Trane to come and speak to the board about the air system in the school – and about the district’s options in replacing the air units.
