Team Plaid, made up of Jordan High School ninth-grade students, won the regional competition in Mankato last week.

The team is made up of Kyle Morgan (left), Ashley Torgerson, Matt Timmons, Bryant Baker, Destiny Delle, and Joe Vloo (below). Because the team is only allowed to compete with five members in each oral round (above), one member had to sit out each round (below).

Jordan’s other team at the competition was team Gold, made up of middle school students Britta Baker (left), Billy Schneider, Aaron Osborne, Spencer Kubista, and Alex German.
