Scott County Commissioner Joe Wagner and County Administrator Dave Unmacht plan to meet with three cities at once next week.

The Jordan, Belle Plaine, and New Prague city councils are scheduled to jointly meet from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Nov. 26 at the Ridges of Sand Creek golf club in Sand Creek Township.

Jordan Mayor Ron Jabs volunteered to serve as chairman of the meeting. An official from each city will tell other city officials what is going on in their respective cities, and they will discuss countywide issues. 

"I'll give the update, but do I have to write it?" Jordan City Councilmember Jeremy Goebel asked.

"Somebody can write it for you," City Administrator Ed Shukle said with a laugh.

"Done," Goebel said, clinching the deal.
