Contractor E.H. Renner recently began drilling Well No. 8.

The Jordan City Council passed a change order that effectively decreased the cost of the project by $1,235 and allowed the contractor to drill through Well No. 7, which is 50 feet away from the new well.

Jordan made its first payment to E.H. Renner, more than $25,000 for starting the work.

Wells Nos. 7 and 8 are next to the water treatment plant, which is near Immanuel United Methodist Church in lowertown Jordan.
