If you're still playing volleyball this week, you're already one of the eight best teams.

And if Jordan makes it to the Minnesota State Class 2A state tournament championship game for a second year in a row, it appears that a lesser team will be the Jaguars' opponent.

The tournament bracket pits the teams with the least losses against each other before they get to the championship game.

At 5 p.m. Thursday at the Xcel Center in St. Paul, Jordan (29-1) faces Dilworth-Glydon-Felton, a team that is undefeated in 30 contests this year.

Also at 5 p.m. is a match between St. Cloud Cathedral (31-0) and Visitation (24-3-2).

Four teams with lesser records -- they have four, five, six, or eight losses -- will be facing each other at 7 p.m. Thursday.

The biggest games for the Jaguars might come sooner rather than later. Good luck, and keep a good thing going!

To see the state tournament bracket, read the Nov. 8 print edition of the Jordan Independent or go to http://www.mshsl.org/mshsl/schoolactpage.asp?school=233&actnum=423, click on Brackets, and then go to the Class 2A bracket.
