I knew it was too good to be true. My weekend in fantasy football was a bust.

On Friday afternoon, I was feeling pretty good about my chances. I was predicted to win in both my fantasy leagues by substantial margins, and I was in the sole lead of the Southwest Newspapers VIPs in the Football Zone pick’em game (sign up and compete here: http://leader.profootball.upickem.net).

But it all came crashing down Sunday and Monday night. I lost both fantasy games, and now I’m tied for first atop the VIP list. To make matters worse, my first week of wearing my Reggie White jersey in support of the Green Bay Packers came up short – they lost to the Bears Sunday night.

Man. I need a good week this week, or I may be looking at one of my first losing fantasy seasons ever. Only problem is, my OFL roster is missing some key contributors this week because of byes. Any suggestions on a good one-week running back or wide receiver?
