An error was printed on page 5 of the Sept. 6 edition of the Jordan Independent. Jon Beckman was named to the 1997 All Tournament team of the State Amateur Baseball Tournament. It was the ninth time in 13 state tourney appearances that Beckman has been named to the team, more than any other player in state tournament history.

The Jordan Independent takes pride in providing accurate reports of the news.
