Did anyone happen to stop by the millpond and see all the big carp caught by a father and his two sons? They carried out a small boat to the water, were wearing rubber waiters, and were just catching the fish with their bare hands. But the fish they caught we quite large! One carp had to be 35-40 lbs. Imagine that one rubbing up against your leg as you swim!

They also caught probably the state record for largest crappie. It probably was the same fish that was on the front page of the JI a while ago.

They did catch some average size bass. Nothing huge, which makes me feel better because I never caught any big bass out of the pond.

I am glad to see all the birds eat the little fish, and people actually catching the fish and eating them.
