I wish I had the Vikings’ record

This is how sad the state of the OFL Ocelots has become: I wish I had the win-loss record of the Minnesota Vikings.

Week three is in the books, and for the third straight week it’s back to the drawing board for me and my fantasy team. This week’s loss came courtesy of my cousin (the very same that I beat in last year’s championship game and lost to in the championship game the year before) and was a 139-73 shellacking.

I don’t know what I’m doing wrong! Last year, I was rolling through the early games and hoping against hope for an undefeated season. This year, I can’t buy a win. My guys just aren’t performing like they should, and I’m making some boneheaded decisions on who to start and who to bench (this week’s worst decision: starting Marc Bulger while letting Tony Romo sit – Bulger’s score was in the negative while Romo racked up more than 20 points).

I blame Tiki Barber.

Barber was my main man for my two championship game campaigns. Now that he’s retired, I’ve got nothing – no consistent running back, no consistent scoring, and no wins.

Now I just don’t know what to do with my team. I need some help on the offense, so I’m going to get a few more playmakers. But I also need consistent defensive play, and that’s a hard thing to get in my league (most owners keep one defense on the bench).

Meanwhile, I’m rocking in the pick’em game. I lead all Southwest employees. Hooray!
