Oct. 14 at 1:30 p.m. Doug Ohman will be doing a slide presentation about the Minnesota historical buildings, including churches, schools, barns, and courthouses.

Oct. 22 at 7 p.m. Kim Ode, author of "Baking with the St. Paul Bread Club" and a Star Tribune writer.

Oct. 27 at 1:30 p.m. Stanley Gordon West is the author of "Until They Bring the Streetcars Back," "Growing an Inch, Amos: To Ride a Dead Horse" (turned in to a CBS movie of the week), and many other books.

Oct. 29 at 7 p.m. MaryJanice Davidson, author of the Undead and… series plus series on Werewolves, Mermaids and the Royal Family of Alaska (you read that right).

Oct. 30, 7 p.m., Vincent Wyckoff, author of "Beware of Cat and Other Encounters of a Letter Carrier."
All author talks will take place in the large meeting room off the lobby downstairs in the library. All of these talks are all free and open to the public. You may have a chance to purchase books and have them signed by the authors. Light refreshment will be served at the events.
