Meet author of book on amateur baseball tonight

 Armand Peterson, one of the authors of "Town Ball: Glory Days of Minnesota Amateur Baseball," will speak at 7 p.m. tonight (Sept. 20) at the Shakopee Public Library. Peterson is the first of a line of Minnesota authors that will appear at the library this fall as part of a Minnesota library forum.

Then on Sunday, at 1:30 p.m., the authors of "Booked 4 Murder" will interview each other about the craft of mystery writing. Those authors Lois Greiman, C. Hyytinen,Michael Allan Mallory and Marilyn Victor.

The Shakopee Public Library, 235 S. Lewis St., will also host the following authors on these dates:  

All author talks will take place in the large meeting room off the lobby downstairs in the library. All of these talks are all free and open to the public. You may have a chance to purchase books and have them signed by the authors. Light refreshment will be served at the events.
