In my second week of the Otte Football League, I’ve got the exact same problem as my first week team – defense.
Last week, Dallas’s defense scored a whopping -1 points. I traded in for a Bengals defense that was facing the Cleveland Browns and should have had a great day. Instead, they scored an OFL record -5 points.
It’s not like my team was going to win, anyway. It wasn’t really a close game, and my cousin has a player yet on Monday night. As it stands this morning, I’m on the losing end of a 109-98 beatdown.
I guess I’ll head back to the drawing board a third time. Unfortunately, this time I think I’m going to have to settle on the Minnesota defense as the best way to shore up my struggling team. Of course, in a league in which every team makes the playoffs, its only the final weeks of the season that really matter.
