Come 2009, Jordan will have a new well from which to draw water.

City Engineer Carol Caron presented a proposal for the city to drill Well No. 8 next to the city's water treatment plant, which is scheduled to soon be expanded on its site in lowertown Jordan. The well will tap the Mt. Simon aquifer.
