"Empire Records" is a don't-forget-it classic.

The 1995 flick includes one of my favorite actors, Ethan Embry. And I have to say that the cast of women in this film is excellent, including especially Liv Tyler, Renee Zellweger, and Robin Tunney.

I think the best scene occurs when Warren (played by Brendan Sexton III) steals from the music store where most of the main characters are employed.

Says Gina via the overhead speakers: "Attention Rex Manning fans, to your left you will notice a shoplifter being chased by night manager, Lucas. This young man will be caught, deep fried in a vat of hot oil and served to our first hundred customers. Just another tasty treat from the gang at Empire Records."

It's a silly popcorn movie, but it gets the job done every time.
