Jordan Fire Chief Steve Kochlin reported to the city council that fire calls are down during the past six months.

Most of the calls have been within the city, and as for when calls come in, Kochlin said, "It flips all over."

Training costs are down this year, because the firefighters all take first-responder training together every other year. This is an off year for that training.
