Jordan's proposed fire hall expansion project has been continually delayed. 

City Attorney Annette Margarit said on Monday that the project will not be ready to bid in July.

She is trying to iron out mistakes made in the property abstract.

So, "could we lose the construction season?" City Council Member Jeremy Goebel wondered out loud.

"Perhaps we might," City Administrator Ed Shukle said, pointing out that the council hasn't decided on its priorities yet. 

City officials have to weigh their options between a fire hall, a city hall, a library, and a police station. Plus, supporters of a potential pool and other projects are starting to ask for city money.
