Entertainment Weekly recently released a list of what they deemed to the 25 greatest action movies of all time. (You can see their list here: http://www.ew.com/ew/article/0,,20042607,00.html.) I’m not going to lie – they got it right most of the time. I agreed with their obvious choices (“Terminator 2” and “Lethal Weapon”) and even with a few of their choices out of left field (“The Incredibles” really is a great action flick masquerading as a kid’s movie). Heck, I even thought they hit it right on the head with their choice for the best action movie – “Die Hard.”

I know these lists are written specifically to rile some feathers. And as much as I liked this list and it’s ranking, it certainly riled mine. Come on! “Raiders of the Lost Ark” below “Aliens?” “Empire Strikes Back” below “The Matrix?” “The Road Warrior” at No. 4, above “Gladiator” while “Braveheart” didn’t even make the list?

You gotta be kidding me!

 With the release of “Live Free or Die Hard” just over a week away, what would you say is your favorite action movie? Or why aren’t you a fan of movies where explosions are central to the story?
