Carlos Silva is streaky, but when he's on, we'll take it.
I'm excited about the complete-game shutout thrown by one of my favorite Twins pitchers. He's an exceptional hurler, and he has his off days. He was also has his on days, as he surely had during a 6-0 win yesterday.
Silva's 4-7 record this year doesn't reflect how well he's pitched. Sure, he's not the record-setting anti-walk master of yesteryear, but that wasn't a fluke. This guy can pitch.
Will the real Silva please stand up ... more often?
