It's summertime in the Jordan area. One of the best things to do, I'm told, is take a tube ride down (up?) Sand Creek.

So my buddy Justin Fenger and I are heading out on the creek right now for a little ride. Supposedly, with the rain we've received, the water won't be too shallow.

We'll see ...

For our trip, I bought two tubes with handles ($7 apiece), a third one to carry our stuff ($3), two foot-long Subway sandwiches ($9), Fritos ($3), Cracker Jacks ($1), 100-DEET bug spray ($5), and bug spray/suntan lotion ($5). 

We have some rope, shoes that we can get wet, and a bag for trash.
