I’m thinking of getting a new picture for my profile on this site.

I love the one I currently have – taken by a friend in college while we tried to photograph each other on a trampoline – but every once and a while it’s nice to just switch things up a little. Plus, I’ve been told it would be nice if people could see my face (although the people who told me that have obviously never actually seen my face).

The thing is, the trampoline picture reminds me that, no matter how much I write for the newspaper or on this site, I’m still just the same person who thinks jumping on a trampoline with a camera is fun, and who thinks bright blue skies are the prettiest things ever.

 I don’t want to stop being that person no matter how much of an adult I have to become.
