I’m going to be going on vacation next week, and I’ll be doing a lot of hiking. Last time I went hiking with my camera, I carried a regular backpack and my camera pack over my shoulder. This time, I’d like to do something a little more convenient.

I’ve looked at a few camera packs that operate as backpacks as well, but I’m not overly happy with any of them. To top it off, I’ll be hiking through some warm weather in the Southwest states, so I need something that will allow me to carry water and my camera without fear.

Do you have any suggestions? What packs do you use for your cameras?
