The city of Jordan is considering the following draft mission statement:

"The mission of the city of Jordan is to preserve our small-town atmosphere by promoting enhancement of our historic charm and family-oriented community along the scenic bluffs of the Minnesota River valley. We embrace planned growth that provides quality amenities and opportunities within our commercial, industrial, and residential neighborhoods."
