The Pink Sox's record dropped to 3-1, and I did something I never thought I'd do: I struck out.

That's bad, but what worse is that my team has a shirt emblazoned with a backwards K and an iron-on of Mario that you have to wear until the next guy strikes out. No one struck out after I did.

I pitched the first game, which we lost. I made a rare throwing error, too.

I played right field in the second game, which we won.

If I remember right, I was 8-for-9 with 10 runs scored in the two games. I pinch ran three times, scoring twice. I also hit a home run in my first at-bat -- I told you I would hit.

Another game will be under way in Blaine tonight.
