Military families will be the guests of honor at the first Thrivent Financial Family Day at the Zoo.

The event takes place from 4:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. June 10 at the Minnesota Zoo, 13000 Zoo Blvd. in Apple Valley.

The event is free of charge for families of military personnel and just $2 for Thrivent Financial for Lutherans members.
