We frequently hear these...
Back to page topWe frequently hear these days (as the President and the Congress debate continuation of the Iraqi War) of those who wish to 'Stay-the-course' vs those who are accused of 'Cutting-and-running'. I heard an ex-President, just before #43, suggest 'Stop-and-Think".
Now, there is a radical suggestion. As Tenet struggles to (assign, shift, dilute, place, escape -your choice) the blame for an ill conceived and increasingly unpopular Iraqi War, I find few instances where anyone stopped 'to think'.
Presidents, before #43, may have done many things for which they received some 'deserved' criticism, but none, voluntarily took this country to war.
Our to political parties have one thing in common, neither has the slightest idea as to how to get us out of this mess. So, it is continued while politicos try to figure out where to go from here. Let me say, 'they who know not and know not they know not ... probably have too much to say about our military strategy'.
That has absolutely nothing...
Back to page topThat has absolutely nothing to do with senior housing or Belle Plaine.
I, for one, am happy that Belle Plaine is adding to the local senior housing market. Jordan has some great senior housing, but as the population of the area ages, there is going to be more and more need.
I also wish someone would increase regular rental housing in Jordan, and maybe add a laundromat. I’m tired of driving to Shakopee every time I have to do the wash.
Sorry for the 'miscue'...
