On my recent trip to Colorado, I saw a little reminder of Jordan.

An orange sign along Interstate 70 said something like "Thanks. Ames Construction." I knew that the Burnsville-based business owned by Jordanite Dick Ames was working on several projects in the West, because I read the business' newsletter. But the thank you sign caught me off guard. I thought it was pretty classy, actually.

It was fun to see and a reminder of what started with a man in Jordan has become a high-class, across-the-globe business.
