Over the past few weeks, I’ve talked to quite a few friends who are looking at making some big changes in their lives, and I want to help them make those changes. Every time I hear that a friend is considering moving, I bring up Jordan. Every time someone tells me that they’d like to find a new job, I bring up Jordan. Sure, I have my selfish reasons – the more of my friends who live in Jordan, the less money I spend on gas – but I also really think that Jordan is a great town for almost anyone.
Here are the three selling points I usually use:
- Jordan has a great school district, where everyone involved – from the administration down through the support staff – has the best interests of the students in mind.
- Jordan’s city government is top-notch. City officials, the police and fire departments, and the city council are all working to make Jordan a great place to live.
- Jordan has a great community. The people here are friendly, there are a variety of activities for almost any interests, and it’s a beautiful town.
Am I missing something? What should I bring up to potential Jordanites? Or should I keep my mouth shut and keep Jordan a secret treasure?
