Who do you like in the Twins middle infield?

I'm a little bit torn about the Minnesota Twins' middle infield situation.

On one hand, I see an infield that consists of Alexi Casilla, Nick Punto, and Luis Castillo as pretty intruiging. Like I said earlier this week, I'm coming around on Jason Bartlett, so I'd be happy with Casilla (last year's Twins minor league player of the year) as a backup right now or a secondbaseman when Castillo eventually leaves -- hopefully, retires from -- the team.

On the other hand, I don't think we want to give up on Luis Rodriguez just yet. Casilla, at a tender age, is too prone to falling apart. Who cares if he does not have protypical shortstop range? Neither does Bartlett. Rodriguez has good hands and is showing he can hit for average, both attributes that Twins officials like to toss out in conversations about Bartlett. L-Rod is an adequate backup.

The Twins are in a pretty good position if they keep Rodriguez on the team. If the Twins run into problems with L-Rod not playing up to par at shortstop, he can play third and Punto can slide over to short.

If anyone gets injured, Casilla is waiting in the wings. (Gotta love that J.C. Romero for Casilla trade so far, right?)

Who do you like in the Twins middle infield? What about this Machado kid we got in the Rule V draft? Do you think he'll be a factor?
