Xcel Energy told Jordan officials it would cost $110,000 for streetlights along a few blocks of Highway 282.

The city is working with the state on a reconstruction project between the highway bridge over Sand Creek and Rice Street.

City Engineer Carol Caron said city staff thinks it could get a better deal, so the city council agreed to table the matter.
