I love reading the rumor mill when it comes to professional sports. Since the pro football season ended, and because baseball has yet to really begin, there isn’t much else to talk about in the sports world (aside from college basketball and the NBA, which are both only interesting during the playoffs). Usually, the rumors I read don’t involve the greatest team in the history of professional sports – The Green Bay Packers – but this week, they did.
I don’t know if you’ve heard, but the Packers are reportedly interested in trading for former Viking and Raider Randy "I’ll Run When I Feel Like It" Moss. I think this is the worst idea the Packers have had since signing Koren Robinson. Moss was obnoxious enough for Packer fans when he wasn’t on the team. On the team, he could turn into a huge headache – he isn’t a team player, and that’s what I think the Packers should be interested in.
I think Moss has had enough chances to prove himself, but maybe I’m wrong about Randy. Do you think athletes who are portrayed as lazy deserve another chance?
