National Weather Services issues flash flood watch

At 6:25 a.m. today, the National Weather Service issued a flash flood watch for Scott County. Jordan was not specifically named as one of the cities to be watched.

Back to page topMy sister in Cedar Rapids, IA was ordered to evacuate this morning. She lives near the downtown. The Cedar River is higher than it was in 1929. They are calling it a catastrophic flood.
