The increase in people with limited English proficiency has driven the Jordan school district to offer classes to those who want to learn, Staff Writer Katrina Styx writes in her column this week.

"But imagine how encouraging it would be if we could reach out to them with the words with which they are already comfortable," she continues. "Think of how much more we could accomplish!"
