Allowed by whom? Since when does the State know more about the needs of kids in Jordan (or any other school district) than the local school boards and PARENTS?

The State of Minnesota mandates, but doesn't fund a lot of things schools must do. This is the same state that can't keep its' bridges standing, the same state that spends money on dog parks, the same state that splits a farm for a highway, and later rebuilds the highway in a different location.

Do we really want those people messing with OUR schools?
