Last week, the Jordan Police Department responded to 122 incidents – 40 citations, 26 warning citations, and 56 calls for service.
June 2 at 10:47 p.m. – An officer was called a second time to a residence in the 200 block of Augusta Court for a complaint of loud music and loud voices. The officer advised the parent of the complaint.
June 3 at 12:04 p.m. – A man residing in the 300 block of W. Second St. reported the theft of a front-end tiller. The value of the tiller is about $450.
June 3 at 5:44 p.m. – Police received a complaint of a barking dog. An officer located the dog in the 300 block of N. Varner St. and advised the residents of the complaint. The homeowner took the dog inside.
June 4 at 3:22 p.m. – A woman reported the theft of a cell phone while working at a business along Eldorado Drive.
June 4 at 5:04 p.m. – An officer responded to a domestic situation along West 190th Street. Three people were in a dispute, and the officer advised them all. No charges were filed.
June 5 at 6:22 p.m. – An officer responded to a verbal domestic situation in the 900 block of Dakota Point and advised.
June 5 at 10:26 p.m. – Police received a report of a property damage accident that occurred in the parking lot of a business along Triangle Lane. No injuries were reported.
June 5 at 11:03 p.m. – Police received a noise complaint regarding a residence in the 200 block of Augusta Court. The officer advised the resident of the complaint and requested the music be turned down.
June 5 at 10:56 p.m. – An officer stopped a vehicle at the intersection of South Broadway and Mill streets. Police issued the driver, a juvenile male, a citation for not having a driver’s license. Police cited the passenger, a man, underage drinking. as well as possession of alcohol, an open bottle, and a small amount of marijuana.
June 6 at 1:18 a.m. – Police received a noise complaint regarding a residence in the 500 block of Bradbury Circle. An officer advised the resident of the complaint.
June 6 at 8:32 p.m. – Police responded to a medical situation in the 400 block of Sunset Drive. An officer assisted a man until Ridgeview Ambulance arrived.
June 7 at 2:26 a.m. – A woman was arrested for third-degree DWI and transported to the Scott County jail. The incident occurred near the intersection of Johnson Memorial Drive and Second Street.
June 7 at 4:53 p.m. – An officer responded to a call regarding an ongoing problem between two juvenile males. The incident occurred in the 400 block of S. Rice St.
June 7 at 7:48 p.m. – Police received a report of juveniles jumping construction equipment with their bikes in the area of Second and Mertens streets. An officer located the juvenile males and advised them to stay out of the construction zone.
June 8 at 5:55 p.m. – An officer responded to a medical situation in the 700 block of Northland Court. Allina Ambulance transported a juvenile male to St. Francis Regional Medical Center in Shakopee.
June 9 at 2:52 p.m. – A woman reported she was a victim of a domestic assault. Police took statements, and the reports were forwarded to the Scott County Attorney’s Office for review and determination on charges.
June 9 at 3:03 p.m. – Union Pacific Railroad reported that there were juveniles on the railroad tracks. An officer searched the area but was unable to locate the juveniles.
June 9 at 3:35 p.m. – An officer observed that two stop signs were missing from the intersection of South Broadway and Water streets. The officer located one of the signs, which had been erected at the intersection of East and Water streets, where a street marker was missing. The officer located the street sign at a residence in the same block. An investigation of the incident is pending.
June 9 at 4:03 p.m. – An officer responded to alleged vandalism in progress behind a business along Rice Street. The officer arrived, located a juvenile male, and transported him to the Jordan Police Department. The juvenile was charged with damage to property and released to his parent.
June 9 at 5:56 p.m. – A man reported vandalism to his vehicle and garage in the 100 block of W. First St.
June 9 at 10:39 p.m. – A business along Triangle Lane reported a gas drive-off in the amount of $27. An officer sent a letter to the registered owner of the vehicle, requesting payment.
June 10 at 2:39 a.m. – An officer responded to a call in regard to an alleged verbal domestic situation in the 200 block of Augusta Court. The officer advised both parties involved.
June 10 at 10:14 p.m. – An officer responded to a call regarding a fight in front of a business along Eldorado Drive. The officer arrived, searched the area, and was unable to locate the juveniles.
June 11 at 12:02 a.m. – Police received a noise complaint in the 100 block of Chad Circle. An officer located three people sitting outside around a bonfire ring and advised the homeowner of the complaint.
June 11 at 4:18 a.m. – An officer assisted with a vehicle that had gone into the ditch along Johnson Memorial Drive. The driver, a juvenile male, was later located and issued a citation for underage drinking and driving, and was released to his father.
June 11 at 5:36 p.m. – A man reported that he had been bitten by a dog. An officer checked with the owner, and the dog was up to date on its shots. The incident occurred in the 100 block of W. Second St.
June 11 at 6:28 p.m. – Police received a report of loud music in Lagoon Park. An officer checked the area for music but was unable to locate any noise.
June 12 at 2:17 p.m. – Police received a report of alleged vandalism at the intersection of East Second and South Rice streets. Juveniles had stepped on a cement sidewalk that had recently been poured. The officer located a juvenile male and advised him to stay off the cement. The juvenile stated that it was an accident and that he thought the cement was dry. The parents were also contacted and advised of the incident.
June 12 at 4:52 p.m. – A business along Triangle Lane reported a gas drive-off in the amount of $13.01. An officer mailed a letter to the registered owner of the vehicle, requesting payment
June 13 at 2:30 a.m. – Officers responded to a verbal domestic situation in the 200 block of S. Broadway St. The officers advised all parties involved.
June 13 at 3:15 p.m. – Police received a noise complaint. Someone was yelling in the street in the 200 block of S. Broadway St. An officer arrived and found two females from an earlier disturbance who were in a parked vehicle and about to leave. The officer advised the females of the complaint and stood by to ensure there was no further disturbance.
June 13 at 11:52 a.m. – A homeowner who resides in the 800 block of Bridle Creek Bay reported that paintballs were fired at the rear of his house. There was slight damage to the siding of the house.
June 14 at 1:15 a.m. – Police arrested a man for fourth-degree DWI and transported to the Scott County jail for booking. The incident occurred on South Broadway Street.
June 14 at 1:09 p.m. – A business along Broadway Street reported a gas drive-off in the amount of $20.10. An officer made contact with the registered owner of the vehicle and requested payment.
June 14 at 7:13 p.m. – An officer made a traffic stop at the intersection of West First and South Mertens streets. A man was issued a citation for under 21, not a drop. The passenger, also a man, was issued a citation for minor consumption. All parties were released at the scene.
June 14 at 8:24 p.m. – A woman reported receiving harassing messages. An officer advised all parties involved.
June 14 at 11:06 p.m. – An officer was called to a burglary report in the 200 block of Broadway St. A woman reported her television was stolen from her unlocked apartment.
June 14 at 11:57 p.m. – Officers responded to a verbal domestic and medical situation along Elm Lane. Officer arrived and advised all parties involved. A juvenile female was transported to St. Francis Regional Medical Center by Ridgeview Ambulance.
