A press release from the Minnesota Department of Transportation:
ROSEVILLE -- Motorists will encounter increased congestion on westbound Highway 62 when traffic is reduced to a single lane between the western junction of Interstate 35W and Penn Avenue beginning at 9 a.m. Monday, Nov. 23.
Traffic will remain in this single lane configuration from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily through Wednesday, Nov. 25.
Part of the I-35W/Highway 62 Crosstown reconstruction project, the lane reduction is needed for sheet piling along westbound Highway 62. The work is being completed during daytime hours to reduce the affect of nighttime noise on local residents.
