Unclaimed property from the Savage Police Department will be auctioned at 5 p.m. July 13 at the Fred W. Radde & Sons Auction Center, 5545 County Road 33, in New Germany, Minn.

The property includes numerous bicycles, cell phones, cameras and electronic equipment, new clothing, sporting equipment and lawn ornaments.

The police department utilizes auctions when it has accumulated a substantial amount of unclaimed property, generally once every year or two. The property consists of items held as evidence, for safekeeping, or found property that is no longer needed and is not claimed and/or has no known owner.
